Track Name: Ocean State
packed our bags by the frozen lakes in the dead of night
headed east to the ocean state in the morning light
needed a place to clear my head
a small state to get away
we're gonna leave this college town
and find a bigger place to stay
yeah, a place that's yours and mine

you were back at your sister's place in a fancy dress
in the back by the fire escape smoking cigarettes
I said that you should get your keys
and that I'd grab my guitar
we would call up all our friends
say goodbye and take the car
and find a life where we could shine

now we're here in the ocean state in the city light
and it looks like we'll have to wait for it to feel right
why'd we leave that town behind
and what cheer can get us through
we're not sure what we've done
and there's nothing we can do
but try to give it time
Track Name: Good Times
how good are the good times
when they're shared with lousy friends
they don't care about my weekend
they got their own shit going on
one's a feature director
he's got a harem of actors
it's tough to live with the famous
a million constant reminders

how good are the good times
when there's nobody watching
I caught some nobody looking
documented and lost it
the world-weary took notice
but it was met with indifference
this is the loneliest palace
I'd rather live in the hovel
